This week we were able to schedule consultations for laser eye surgery. Nicole received a call back from the company last Friday evening. On Saturday morning (Dec. 14), we & a friend of ours will be going to Seoul to the Glory Eye Center for consults. We are all doing it together to get a group discount for the surgery.
We are very excited & Nicole is also very nervous. We spent a couple of hours today watching surgery videos that have been done in Seoul. We cannot wear contacts for a week before the consult. John is having a little trouble adjusting to wearing his glasses all the time, but he knows it's worth it!
We are still hoping to get our surgeries done in January but we will have much more information to share after the consultations.
Not much else going on; we're always busy though. Nicole is stressing a lot over her "open class" show. Her students are doing very well with preparations though. Hopefully all goes smoothly. In less than a week's time, it will be done! Then we will concentrate on Japan!
Sorry for the lack of pictures this week. Definitely more to come this weekend though!
